custom tattooing at graveside
Whether you're looking for a piece of flash, a fully custom design, a cover-up, a refresh of an older tattoo, or a rework of existing artwork, our team is here to help bring your ideas to life.
From small meaningful tattoos to large-scale custom projects, we take pride in providing quality tattooing in a clean, professional, and welcoming environment.
Not sure where to start? Our team reviews every project individually and works to pair clients with the artist best suited for their design, style, and goals.
how to book
Getting started is easy. Simply send us your idea, reference photos, preferred placement, and approximate size. Once we review the project, we'll recommend the artist who is the best fit and provide a time and cost estimate whenever possible.
Some larger or more complex projects may require a free in-person consultation with the artist before scheduling. A deposit is required to secure tattoo appointments and is applied toward the cost of the tattoo on the day of your appointment.
While consultations are available to all clients, they are not always necessary. Many projects can be reviewed and scheduled remotely through photos and reference materials.
what to expect
Whether you're getting your first tattoo or adding to an existing collection, our goal is to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible.
Before your appointment, we recommend eating a good meal, staying hydrated, and arriving on time. Be sure to wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed and avoid arriving under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
While we understand that some clients may want to bring a friend or family member for support, space in the studio can be limited. We recommend limiting guests whenever possible and contacting us in advance if you have any questions regarding visitors.
When you arrive, your artist will review the design, placement, and any final details before beginning the tattoo. We encourage clients to ask questions and communicate openly throughout the process to ensure everyone is comfortable and on the same page.
Once your tattoo is complete, your artist will review aftercare instructions and answer any questions you may have about the healing process. Proper aftercare plays an important role in how your tattoo heals and ages over time.
cover-ups, reworks, & refreshes
Not every existing tattoo needs to be covered. Depending on the age, condition, placement, and amount of existing pigment, a refresh or rework may be enough to achieve your desired result.
A refresh focuses on restoring faded color, contrast, and clarity to an existing tattoo. A rework involves updating or improving elements of an older design while preserving some of the original artwork. Cover-ups are designed to conceal an existing tattoo by incorporating it into a new design.
Because every tattoo and every goal is different, our artists evaluate each project individually and will recommend the approach that offers the best long-term result. Larger or more complex cover-up and rework projects may require a free consultation before scheduling.
